The actors' strike in 2023 brought movie production in North America to a halt. This shutdown was driven in part by actors' demands for control over their digital likenesses. That’s when Marcus had a lightbulb moment: "If they want to control their digital likeness, why don’t we give it directly to them?" And that’s how Savepoint was born.
